🍎 Fall 2026 Testing

Our 2026–27 Exact Path school year will begin after Labor Day. If you are purchasing for the upcoming school year, we recommend waiting until after Labor Day to complete your child’s first diagnostic.

You can purchase and get set up now—just wait until after Labor Day to begin testing.

Why wait? If your child completes the diagnostic before our new school year begins, they can still receive their diagnostic results, but they will need to take the diagnostic again after Labor Day to open their personalized 2026–27 Learning Path.

📅 When We Recommend Testing

For the most meaningful results, we recommend completing Exact Path diagnostics during the typical seasonal testing windows:

Fall: August–October
Winter: November–February
Spring: March–June

Testing within these windows helps your child’s results align with Exact Path’s seasonal grade-level expectations and gives you a better picture of their academic growth throughout the year.

For 2026–27 families: We recommend completing your first diagnostic after Labor Day and during the fall testing window. Your child can then begin working in their personalized Learning Path based on their diagnostic results.

There are three subtests per assessment: math, reading, and language arts.

For K-1, allow 15-25 minutes per subtest.

For grades 2-12, allow 35-50 minutes per subtest.

Each time your child completes a subtest, results are available almost immediately.

You’re not on your own. We’re happy to answer your questions and help you understand what your child’s results mean for your homeschool.
